“Windmills and Landscapes”

Studio 55 - Art Gallery is proud to announce an art exhibition, “Windmills and Landscapes” presented by environmentally conscious artists inspired by energy alternatives.  This art exhibition of recent original paintings by the art gallery’s artists will introduce a unique message in visual art.  The need for clean air to preserve the world’s landscapes and alternative resources for our increasing energy consumption of our planet’s natural resources is a clear and important message.

Studio 55 artists have devoted their time and talent in their classic and traditional art styles to create works of art that could evoke the interest of the viewer to explore alternate power technology that can save our planet.  Windmills can become the solution for efficient energy alternatives to onshore, coastal and offshore sites by providing infinite and renewable sources in an economically desirable way.

The art opening and artists’ reception is free to the public and will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm  A sneak-preview showing will be held on Friday evening, March 4, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  The exhibition will continue through the months of March and April.  Visit the gallery on Friday, April 1, for extended hours from 12:00 to 8:00pm for First Friday events in Hamilton-Lauraville.
